Our story

About Kin & Crumb

Some recipes are more than instructions. They’re the cake someone made for every birthday, the sauce that always brought everyone to the kitchen, the handwritten note passed from one generation to the next.

Kin & Crumb is being built to bring those recipes to new tables, without leaving their people behind.

Family recipes. Local hands.

Our plan is simple: families contribute a recipe and a short story, taste-vetted local cooks make it to order, and every order includes a card about the person who first made it. A QR code on the card invites the next family to contribute.

We’re starting with a small local pilot, pre-orders, baked goods and shelf-stable favorites. Home-kitchen sales depend on local regulations, so we’ll only launch where permitted and show fulfillment details on each listing.

Give credit. Keep sharing.

Our goal is to credit every contributing family and build a per-order royalty into the model. Holiday boxes, recipe cookbooks and gifts are ideas for later—not promises of products available today.

For now, we’re focused on getting the first recipes and the first batches right. Good food, great stories, and room for one more.
